Why am I getting an error message when trying to log in to my CGTC Single Sign-On account?
Answer
There have been reports of users logging into the new Single Sign-On solution one time with no issues but getting errors on subsequent logins. The web browser is possibly caching expired login information causing these issues. To help avoid cache issues, the IT department recommends the following workflow:
- Navigate to https://sso.centralgatech.edu and log in with your full email address and network password
- Access CGTC resources (Banner, Blackboard, Degreeworks, etc.) using the tiles provided by the system
- Each resource will open in a new tab or browser window
- When you are done working in the system(s), log out of the Single Sign-On solution before closing your browser window(s)
If you are currently encountering error messages when logging into the new Single Sign-On solution or accessing CGTC sites/services, please clear your browser cache before reaching out for support.
