How do I submit a website update request to Marketing?

Answer

Faculty and staff at CGTC may submit a website update request by submitting a ticket to Marketing.

  1. Visit the Helpdesk in iNet v2.
    1. From the CGTC homepage, select Faculty and Staff followed by iNet v2.
    2. If you are not already logged in, log in to SSO with your CGTC credentials.
    3. Select iNet Resources.
    4. Then, choose the Helpdesk.

  2. Select Create a new helpdesk ticket and choose Marketing and Public Relations from the drop-down menu.

  3. A link to Trello will appear. Select the link to access the Marketing ticket form. (You can save this form for easy access by bookmarking this page or accessing this short URL: cgtc.io/marketingRequest)

  4. Fill out the form:
    1. Enter a short, descriptive title for your request.
    2. Enter your CGTC email address.
    3. Provide the date by which you need your request fulfilled (Marketing asks that you allow them at least 2 weeks.)
    4. Agree that you acknowledge that if you do not provide at least 2 weeks notice, your request may not be completed on time.
    5. Under What are you requesting? select Website Requests and Updates.
    6. Under More Information, choose Updates/Request for Website.
    7. Include the details of your request. (It helps to be as specific as possible.)
    8. Choose whether or not you have documents you need to attach by selecting Yes or No / N/A.
      1. If you have documents or images that need to be added, there is space to add up to 5 documents. If you need to add more, you will need to save everything to a folder in your OneDrive and provide the link to the folder.
      2. You will need to confirm that you have added all your attachments before selecting Submit.
    9. Finally, hit the Submit button to submit your request. (You won't receive a confirmation email, so you may want to make note of the date of your submission just in case you need to follow up.)
