CGTC FAQs

If the ASC is closed and you need tutoring help ASAP, you can use the AI Tutor, our online 24/7 tutoring service.

1. Log in to Single Sign On.
    
2. Select the AI Tutor tile.
   
    
3. You may be prompted to sign in with your Single Sign On username and password.
    
4. Select New Chat to get started.
    
5. Select I Understand for the AI Tutor Disclaimer. You can also select Do not show this again to prevent the disclaimer from appearing again.
    
6. Choose the type of question(s) you want to ask:
   1. Open - Ask any question about any topic.
   2. Guided - Ask questions about a particular subject.
      1. Choose the subject you need help with, or enter the subject in the 'Other' field if you don't already see it listed.
   3. Personal Source - Ask questions about content you upload, like course notes.
      1. Choose Upload files to upload your document(s) and Continue.
   4. Institutional Source - Interact with subject-specific bots created by CGTC, like Buddy the study bot, or the Dental Hygiene Patient Education Simulator.
      1. Choose a bot and select Next to continue.
          
7. If available, you can choose a suggested question to ask, or enter your own question in the Send a message box to begin chatting with the AI Tutor.
