How do I safely remove a flash drive from a computer?

Before removing a flash drive from a computer, you should safely eject it in order to avoid corrupting the data contained on it.
Windows 10
- From the taskbar located at the bottom of the screen, select the flash drive icon
located to the right. - Choose your flash drive from the list. Your flash drive will be ejected.
