Q. How can I read a magazine, journal or newspaper in GALILEO?
Answer
First, check in GALILEO's "All Journals" list for the magazine, journal, or newspaper you would like to read. You'll have to scroll down the opening page to find the "All Journals" link. (If you are attempting to access GALILEO from home or off campus, you will need to log in using your student email and password.)
Click "All Journals," and you'll reach a Journal Search page.
After reaching the publication's home page, you can choose an issue to read. The publication's page may look different from one selection to another, but there should be a way to choose an issue. Here is an example from ProQuest:
And here's another example from EBSCO:
Either way, after you click on an issue to read, the articles will appear separately, as a result list. Click on a "Full Text" link under a title to read that article.
Want to be alerted when new issues become available? Look for the link to create an alert, so you'll get an email when a new issue is online for you to read.
