How can I access The Macon Telegraph?

The Macon Telegraph is provided online through NewsBank and is also available on-campus in the Macon Campus Library.


Access The Telegraph on-campus:

Visit the Macon Campus Library (I-201), contact us by phone (478-757-3549) or email library@centralgatech.edu to see if we have the issue/article you are looking for.


Access The Telegraph online: 

  1. Visit NewsBank. (Off-campus users will need to enter their CGTC email address and password to log in.)
  1. Scroll down and select Macon Telegraph Collection, located under Quick Links.

  1. Search or browse printed articles, blog posts, videos, and video transcripts published by The Telegraph.
  1. Enter a keyword in the search bar to search all Macon Telegraph sources.

  1. Or select a source to browse issues by date or further limit your keyword search to the selected source. Select from the following:
    1. Text-only articles from the printed edition, available from 1994-present.
    2. Articles with images from the printed edition, available from 2018-present.
    3. Blog posts originally posted on www.macon.com, available from 2006-present.
    4. Videos originally posted on www.macon.com, available from 2019-present.
    5. Video transcripts originally posted on www.macon.com, available from 2019-present.
