Why am I getting an error message when trying to change my password?

Answer

Does the password you are trying to set meet the following requirements:

  • 8 character minimum length
  • be unique and cannot contain college name
  • Contain at least 3 of the following 4
    • Upper case letter (A-Z)
    • Lower case letter (a-z)
    • Numbers (0-9)
    • Special Characters (!,@,#,$,%,^, etc.)
  • CANNOT include your first or last name, your address, or the name of the college

 

If your new password does meet those requirements, but it is still giving you an error message, please contact the CGTC Communications Center at (478) 988-6800.
