How old does someone have to be to take the GED Test?
Answer
Test takers ages 16 and 17 must be enrolled in Adult Education class and be approved by the Georgia Office of Adult Education to take the GED Test.
Test takers ages 18+ can take the GED Test as a student or walk-in.
Students who are studying at Central Georgia Technical College for their GED Test have the opportunity to apply for GED Ready ($6 each) and GED Test ($40) scholarships.
