Why in natural log the base is "e"?
Answer
The natural logs uses e as its base because it represents continuous growth and decay in nature. When using it in algebra it is used as ln(x) as the inverse operation of e to the power of x. In pre calculus it is used to represent a growth process in terms of compound interest rates.
