What does the LCM mean?
Answer
The LCM stands for the least common multiple. It is where two of the whole numbers is the smallest whole number divisible by both of those numbers. There are several ways you can find the LCM. First you can think of a number that can divide evenly by 3 and 4 which in this case would be 12. You can also find the least common multiple by writing the multiples of the larger number.
