How do I factor polynomials?

Answer

The first step you should do for factoring is finding the GCF. GCF stands for the greatest common factor by find the largest number and lowest exponent. Once you have found the GCF you would then have to factor the trinomial. To factor the trinomial you would find two numbers that add to give the middle number and multiply to give you the term on the end.
