What are x and y intercepts?
Answer
X and Y intercepts are where certain ordered pairs cross the line at. For x intercepts it is where an ordered pair crosses the line at exactly. In addition, when it crosses the x axis the ordered pair would have y=0 letting us know that y is 0 for our ordered pair. This same method is used to help find the y axis as well. If a point crosses the y axis that mean x is equal to 0 and vice versa for the x axis.
