What is a networking rack?
Answer
A network rack is a metal frame used to hold, organize and secure networking equipment. The equipment consists of routers, switches and patch panels. The difference between network and server racks is that server ones are shallower, open frame and optimized for extensive cable management. Network racks provide a standardized physical structure that keeps hardware organized and cables neatly routed.
