What is neuroplasticity?

Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to change its structure & function based on experience which allows for creating new neural pathways. The brain strengthens some pathways, weakens others, & builds new ones depending on how you use it. If you repeat something often enough, a skill, a thought pattern, a movement, the brain builds a stronger pathway for it. If you stop using a skill, the pathway can fade. Ex. practicing a musical instrument or learning a new language.
