What is VoIP?

Answer

VoIP stands for voice over internet protocol. It is a technology that allows the user to make calls using a broadband internet connection instead of  a traditional analog phone line. It converts the users voice signals into digital data packets transitioning them over the internet. When this happens it enables communication from computers, VoIP phones or standard phones with adapters.
