What is Latency in networking?
Answer
Latency is the time delay between a source and its destination. It represents the lag between a users actions and the response to the network. Latency is usually often referred to as "lag" or in some cases "ping". When a high latency occurs it causes low and unresponsive connections usually do to things like video call and gaming. On the other hand when there is a low latency it is the ideal latency to ensure minimal delay.
