What are ratios and proportions?
Answer
When it comes to ratios it compares quantities and can indicate how many times one value contains. Ratios can also compare two or more quantities through division showing how they are related. On the other hand, for proportions it consists of an equation on stating how two ratios are equivalent. In conclusion ratios shows relationships with two or more quantities. Whereas proportions shows how equality between the two ratios between them.
