What is mean, median, mode and range?
Answer
Mean, median, mode and range are all related to sets of numbers. Lets break them down starting with the mean. The mean is where you add up all the numbers in the set and divide based off how many numbers are in the set. Next, we have median which is the number in middle of the set, however when you have 2 medians you would add them both and divide by 2. Then, we have mode in which we find the number that occurs most in the set of numbers. Lasty, we have range where we take the highest number and subtract it from the lowest number in the set.
