What is the ping command in command prompt?
Answer
The purpose of the ping command is to test connectivity between devices. On your windows select start and type "cmd"(shortcut for command prompt) in the search box. Once you are in command prompt you would then type ping and the address of the other device or a domain name. From there if you get no replies that means you would troubleshoot the other device making sure you typed in the other devices address correctly. When you ping an address and just get a couple replies do the command again and the ping will be fully successful.
