What does it mean to round in college algebra?
Answer
When it comes to rounding in math it usually is referring to decimals. Lets say if you encounter a math problem and you get a decimal. Based off the question it will ask you to input an answer where you round to 1 to 3 decimal places. In order to round you would do "5 or more you raise the score". So when you round you look at the number after 1st,2nd or 3rd number and it is 5 or greater than 5 you add 1 to the respected number.
Examples
