What is the process to add or subtract mixed fractions
At first you would set equal sides first. Then you would find the least common multiple in the denominator which is below the bar of the fraction. Once the LCM is put out, multiply the given problem on one by how much to the LCM and do the same to find the numerator at the top to solve. The next step is to add the numerators given that was multiplied earlier. If the answer is given as the numerator bigger than the denominator you would need to convert it to a mixed number and then add the mixed numbers together including the one that was converted from the improper fraction.
