What is a parabola?
Answer
It is a symmetrical curve that is U shaped that either opens upward or downward. It is also a graph for the quadratic function (y=ax^2+bx+c). When you graph a parabola you would have to find what is called an axis of symmetry. This is a line that goes through the vertex that divides the parabola in half. For the vertex it is an ordered pair which points to whether the parabola changes direction to the lowest or highest point in the graph.
